After all, he was using another mentalist’s method and selling it to his fans and viewers. The least he could have done was alter some components of the effect and made it his own.
Michael further adds salt to an already gaping wound by selling his course at a fraction of the price of Millard Longman’s own instructional DVD. Fans across the world found this move tasteless and unethical, but we really can’t blame people if it’s all they can afford.
Despite the criticism, the Revelation Effect course has gone to be very successful. It has helped a lot of aspiring mentalists learn what they need to know on how to perform great mind-reading tricks.
